I rarely have the right size metal box for my electronics projects. On rare occasions, the local store had a better fit. So, I've always been interested in being able to bend up boxes. Early attempts were terrible. Either the top and bottom didn't fit together, or the gap between them was so great that screws could not reach. I desired to have a spreadsheet that would accept my needed inside dimensions and tell me the size of the blanks to be bent up. I have it now.
For those that only want to bend up the right size box, they can download the spreadsheet, read a few pages of setup instructions, and get to work. But if you are interested in how I approached the problem plus a proof (hey Marv...) of the underlying equations, they are included.
