    Most paintless dent repair doesn't use suction cups, but instead it's hot glue. There's a little foot that they glue in place and then they can pull or pop that.

    The kits are cheap if you want to learn how to do it. It's satisfying methodical work.

    Looks like a before and after. The last shot is the before, the dent was made after, then attempted to pull the dent. Otherwise why change the camera angle?

    Actually the Paintless Dent Removal system started with vacuum cups, there were air venturi powered suction cups that could be fitted to a slide hammer or set on a dent for use with a puller. This progressed to using hot glue and now there is a Urethane product,(cold glue), that is reusable but it is NOT cheap.

    The hot glue system is widely used with special glues for different temperatures and pad sizes.
    Still an amazing process.
