    Deluxe version screw driver

    I don't like plastic ...


    (sorry for the poor quality picture)

    So I did this one.
    I replaced all the plastic parts that came with this precision screw driver set by wood.
    It is Ash and Mahiogany for the box, and curly ash and cherry for the screw driver handle.
    I added a little copper ring.

    The cherry knob at the end can turn and is mounted on a brass axis, so that it keeps steady in the palm while turning the handle.

    Very nice workmanship, Christophe. And that rotating cherry knob is a nice touch.

    Nice job Christophe. Woodworking hand tools look better in wooden construction than in metal, plastic, or other materials.

    I like the recessed wood case for the screw driver bits and extra touch with the swiveling handle cap. Like you, I don't like plastic when wood can be used instead.
