Deaf NASA volunteer for motion sickness tests - GIF

John Zakutney, a deaf volunteer, being lowered into a human centrifuge. Since deaf individuals have inactive pressure-sensitive cochleas, Zakutney and 11 others were recruited by NASA for weightlessness, balance, and motion sickness experiments.

I thought this post was interesting and I quickly scrolled down to see the results of the testing. .. or, at least, see a video of the test.
