    The alternative is to be burnt alive or die from smoke inhalation. Not much of a choice, but given the situation, I would jump.
    I have a 1972 Land Rover Series III Truck Cab/Pick-Up and a 1962 Land Rover Series 2a Carawagon Camper.

    WOW, that was a big drop. Could not accurately calculate the drop time from the video. But they were falling for at just over 1 second. That would put their speed more than 34 ft/sec. or 23.1818 mph. Given the apparent size of the kids, that would have been quite a substantial amount of momentum. Kudos to those people for catching or at least slowing their decent so they could survive the fall!!!
