I find it fascinating watching craftsmen working on huge industrial machines where a vise would be impractical. How much would a Kurt 18 weigh?

I am reminded that while a vise may be handy and quick, it may not be the best way to hold materials, even on the tiny machines we have in our basements.

    Beautiful.
I like the "time capsule" SIMM card 4:57 except this looks so well built that by the time someone has to refurbish it, the technology to read the card will be long obsolete.
    Thanks for the share.

Beautiful vise. Your little shop buddy needs safety glasses when he's around the mill.
