No traffic light or any means to organize traffic at the T-intersection. Seat belts eliminate driver projectile through windshield.

There would be a lot fewer traffic accidents if every vehicle were built that way.

If you know that you are the first thing to strike the other vehicle, you'll drive more carefully

    ... or ...

If you persist in careless driving, the fact that you were the first thing to strike the other vehicle will eliminate your bad driving in another, more permanent, way.

I have long been of the opinion that if everyone learnt to ride a motorcycle and rode for a few years before being allowed to steer a four-wheeler there would be a drastic reduction in 'accidents' and as much as I abhor compulsion I would like to see joining a club of some sort to learn from more experienced people before venturing onto the road made a requirement.

When my oldest daughter became old enough to drive I took her for a 8 hour ride in and around Dalllas TX in a Kenworth pulling a 2+3+1 RGN trailer, would have taken her in one of the other rigs but this was the only one not under load in the equipment yard that was under 80,000 lbs empty weight and legal width. I made her observe every stupid and potentially dangerous maneuver the smaller vehicles made near us. What is now called street bike motorcycle riders were among the worst. the only motorcycle riders who always had their wits about them seemed to be more mature aged riders. It must have had an effect on her because she turns 50 in July this year has never had a ticket and the only accidents she has ever been in were ones she was unable to get out of the way in time to avoid them. 1 was a drunk driver 1 was a city cop pulling out of a parking space without signaling 1 was a Highway Patrol making a U turn from the right hand lane to cross the median in front of her and 2 were thumb farkers texting while driving.

Having had cagers try to kill me because "I hate *&$%^£ bikies" I get more than a little annoyed when I see idiots racing on the street especially around residential areas. This is why I mentioned clubs because I sure wish I had had some older wiser heads around me when I was young.

There is a reason the older drivers are the safer drivers. They are still around!!!

In reference to post #8 , what is a cager?
