    What's up with that spatula spoon thingy? Can you just do this with any ice cream?

    I'm just guessing that the spoon is used simply as a way to dig out a thinner shaved scoop if the treat. A flat confectioners knife would probably serve just as well.
    I've never played with my food in that manor to me it tastes the same just lobbed in a bowl or slammed onto a cone But I mostly just shave out spoon fulls of my lime sherbet in slices similar to those to make a rose and put them in my mouth. Why take the time to do this while making my taste buds suffer the wait.

    ahh my tastebuds would prefer the lady I give said treat to, reciprocating the gesture with that smile, and twinkle in her eye... worth so much more than waiting for the icecream.
