    copper boiler flanged forming tools

    Hi
I am building a boiler for a 3" scale foden and have made the plates to form all the 1/8" thick copper. I have also posted on Homemadetools.net a tube strightening tool to un-coil 3/8" 20 gauge copper tube for the 63 x 9" long fire tubes. Please view link below for photos of formers and plates.
The boiler is well under construction so hope to start silver soldering very soon.
    Thank you for viewing.

You do some really nice work! I really like the Sweetpea locomotive, both un-painted and painted.
I was particularly interested in the forming work you've done.
You had some interesting clamps to hold down some pieces on your vertical mill, did you make those or buy them? I liked how much reach they had for holddowns.
I need to keep looking through the rest of your website.
    Thanks for posting,
    Kent

    Hi Kent
    Thank for the kind words
I made the clamps and now have about 10 of them if not more. I made my first one when I did my apprenticeship project some 34 years ago. The are very quick and useful to use, so decided to make a batch of them for the workshop. I will do another post on homemadetools.net for the clamps, as you are not the first person to ask about them.
Thank you again for viewing my posts
