    My Grandpa did this all the time when making his custom doors and cabinetry only he didn't use screws as much as he mostly used nails especially for concealed dados in corners
    Never try to tell me it can't be done
    When I have to paint I use KBS products

    Nah, not really at all...all of us wood people have done it, but why bother? A plug cut crossgrain from the offcut of the board hides from everyone but the guy who placed it....and trim head screws reduced to 5mm head diameter are easily plugged with dowel...again, no one ever notices them. Just my 2 cents, oh, and I plug a LOT of screw holes in my work...cheers, Jim

    My Grandfather, who was a home-builder in Oregon, taught me the same technique, but he used a Vee chisel to make his curls.
