99% solar energy, 1% wave energy.
Is there any information on how this is harvesting the energy from waves? I've seen some hydraulic systems before. They employed check valves in a full bridge rectifier configuration to drive a hydraulic motor. The problem with wave energy is there's very little available energy to harvest, and the ocean beats the absolute snot out of anything you put in it.
A friend of mine on one of the alternative energy forums owns a sailing yacht it has several different ways to generate electricity on it, the Diesel generator like you would find on a very large RV solar panels covering much of the deck area where people don't walk a small propeller driven generator that will only produce a few watts and another small generator that only needs the rocking or movement of the boat. It is much like those survivalist flashlights you shake to recharge the battery. It is made of little more than a few disk magnets housed in a cylinder with a set of coils around it. and a small wind turbine on top of the mast. Between the 4 passive ways to generate electricity he says he hardly ever has to use the diesel generator even when at sea for a month at a time
Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products
