Although I really like minimalist design, "modern" always throws a red flag for me. It could be gimmicky, incredibly overpriced, over faux-finished, or unique but tacky. And if I hear "mid-century modern", I run away and cry.
I almost clicked away when I saw "HomeMadeModern" as the author here, but fortunately I saw "CNC" in the title and decided to check it out. The sanding process looks really laborious, and I wonder if there's an easier way to do it. It's also rather dangerous as it stands, and needs a railing, which may interfere with the aesthetic. Nevertheless, it came out looking great.
