CNC Newbie

At present I'm building an OX CNC Router and I'm in the wiring phase. My machine will have 1.5 meters in the X-Axis, 1 Meter in the Y-Axis and 125 Millimeters in the Z-Axis. I will be using the Gecko G540 Stepper Drive powered by a 36V Power Supply with a Buck Shunt for 12V Homing and Limit Switches along with a 48V ER-16 Spindle with PWM Speed Control. I will be using Mach3 as my control software in conjunction with a UC-100 USB adapter. For software I will be using VCarve 8.5 for the design process. At present I have approximately $2500 Canadian invested in this hobby.
