We had a similar setup where I used to work but the drive and driven weren 217;t so cone shaped. It worked great for tapping. It was pretty speedy and the parts were pretty easy to handle and because it was based on friction you could go fast or slow and I don 217;t recall breaking many #6 , #8 or #10 taps when I used it. It 217;s still there but so much stuff is cluttered around the area it 217;s hard to access now. I don 217;t recall the manufacturer off hand.
