    That's pretty awesome. How does it work? It doesn't appear to rotate. Laser welding or something?

    although not shown in the clip, the chuck holding the pipe has rotated. From the electrode visible inside the device I'm guessing TIG.

    Modified TIG, I have similar systems from Swagelok (M200 units) we use and the electrode rotates around the work-piece inside the housing.
