When I made the http://www.homemadetools.net/forum/c...able-saw-51912, I realized that the same jig could be used to cut circles in the band saw, and for sanding circles on the disc sander.
However, I decided to make a suitable jig for the bandsaw.
Unlike most jigs for table saw, where the workpiece is clamped to the jig and both are moved for each cut, here the jig is attached to the table and the workpiece rotates freely on a pivot, guided by hand.
I used the same http://www.homemadetools.net/forum/h...1857#post75289 showed in the jig for table saw. The distance from the blade to the pivot point is equal to the radius of the circle, and is fully adjustable.
This jig for band saw, clamped to the disc sander, works great for sanding circles.
