    OR... perhaps S = F x A where S= skill level, F= number of full fingers remaining, A = Age of the craftsman.

    Perhaps it would be better if A were be replaced by E which would be years of Experience that would make S = F x E

    Nice Work!!!

    Some time ago I watched a guy at a show do similar but in his case knives. The workmanship put into this chisel and the other guys knives highlights why you should never throw anything out. Old rusty bearings can turn into excellent tools with a bit of hammering and some fine work.
