    No they are locked in by an interference fit. just rotated in place much like some parting tool inserts.
    But I doubt if that blade will fit in my miter saw
    Never try to tell me it can't be done

    Or mine for that matter, I'm just in the process of finishing a table saw that has a 16" blade but by comparison that's small.
