Cat proof door for storage room

Made a simple door to keep cats out from my wife's storage room.

Plywood pole and mesh. Overall cost 30$ inc hinges.

Very nice, if my cats were allowed in the house they would drive me crazier than I already am by constantly climbing and playing on that door. I even had to remove th elower screens from all of my outside doors to prevent them from climbing on them and destroying the screens even with that a couple of them like to run and try to jump high enough to get on the upper screen. comical to watch but once in a while one of them actually makes it
my solution to that was to give them their very own bug zapping light. The 4 of them will play for hours on end each night catching insects . I don't particularly care for having the light assaulting the otherwise pristine night darkness but the upside is when insects are flying it reduces the amount of cat food they eat by half

Lol. That insect light is great idea.

Net in the door is metal, just because plastic one wouldn't last a day. Plastic ones we have in our windows aren't very insect proof anymore. Climping on insect nets seems to even more entertaining than climping in curtains.
