Cabinet installation knee and seat dollies. I am reminded of the Edger Dolly for edge sanding hardwood floors. I contemplated slapping one together from 2x4s, casters, and a pillow this past summer when refinishing our hardwood floors. For some reason I decided that it "wasn't worth it" for 800 square feet, and that a week of lower back pain was somehow a better option.

I have a knee dolly (no seat) that I bought when our local Sears store was clearing out. It works great when the floor is clear enough for it to roll, which hasn't been the case in my garage for a long time. I've reverted back to using a closed cell foam yoga mat most of the time.

I have a pair of gel foam knee pads that I thought I paid way too much for, but doing flooring, carpeting, flatwork etc. I'm glad I spent what I did because my knees give me almost no issues now!
