This 16x20 post and beam cabin, found on CountryPlans.com, was constructed by Moni and her husband, a log house builder in British Columbia.

What's interesting here is the interior treatment. First drywall was hung and painted white. Then 1/2" thick slices of pine were stained and hung over the drywall, with 6-8" gaps between the boards.

The final look closely resembles a neat chinking job, without the hassle of chinking.
