Building a banjo for the wood lathe

In this video I build a quick release banjo for the woodturning lathe. A banjo holds the different types of tool rests that you use when turning. It also allows you to move and position the tool rest in the correct position. Older banjos are held, or clamped in position by tightening a bolt or nut. This can be tedious and time consuming because you need to reposition the banjo often when turning. This banjo has been designed with a quick lock and release system.
