A chain can be a very good idea especially with the heavier mag drills. This one looks like it is light enough to catch, but sometimes safety demands letting go. By he way it isn't just the power failing that might cause an issue, in this example he has a magnet that does 600 pounds of pull, which is great, but he also has a very long lever arm in the upright support.
Companies hide screws under labels to make sure you don't service your own equipment. You can't take the top cover off most hard drives, for instance, without removing a screw hidden under the label, and that is one way they guarantee you can't violate your warranty without them knowing it.
(I took a hard drive to the Geek Squad, back in the early 2000's, and the little fleeb at the desk told me that had inspected my hard drive and couldn't find anything wrong with it, so I got him and his manager to show me the inside of the drive. They took all the screws off except the one hidden under the label, and when they couldn't take off the cover, I was able to not only get a refund but a pretty good settlement for fraud.)
Anyway, that's why the decals cover the screws in a lot of cases.

Then I must really own everything I have ever bought since one of the first things I find myself doing with most things is to take them apart sometimes before even using them. especially my computers and laptops. This laptop I am using I bought back in 2012 before even leaving the store I pulled the back off of it pulled out the Ram sticks and handed them to the salesman. The laptop was a high end gamer's version but I wanted to turn it into a workstation it came with only 2 2gig DDR3 sticks so I bought a pair of 8gig DDR3 stick and installed them. The salesman said you voided the warrantee before even turning the thing on, how crazy can you be?
Crazy enough to sledgehammer it if it doesn't work, I said. I'm still using it
Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products
