When 'Paintless Dent Removal' came on the scene I thought about how it came to be.
Maybe the idea came from this.

The brass instrument restoration shop has an impressive arsenal of specialized tools, here this is the goose neck anvils family. But an other important one is the balls set, various sizes and shapes and holders.
