I am replacing the brakes on my friend's truck which this time the sleeve which the pivot shaft resides in is worn to the point of needing replacing
These are thin sleeves and can damage easily unless installed with a special tool.
They can be installed with bushing drivers but then most times have to be reamed to accept the picot shaft a better way is to install both shaft and sleeve at the same time.
So I cut off a piece or 1 3/4" round then bored one end to fit the pivot shaft I knurled it just to make it more identifiable as a tool to prevent it from later being discarded or made into something else
