Here's a bowsaw I made recently. I'm on a hand saw kick lately. Still looking for the Holy Grail there. This was a project inspired by that quest. The blade is a bit of broken band saw blade. I tried to use a hacksaw blade but I couldn't file that to sharpen it. I tried to anneal it some with a torch and it didn't work for me. But I can file this band saw blade. So it's what I used. The wood is hard rock maple I got out of a scrap table I picked up on the side of the road. I've been making a lot of socket chisel handles out of the legs of that table too. Was a great find. Some random scrap hardware makes up the blade holders. Bolts that I notched with a cut off wheel. Blade pins are made out of a nail shank.
