To the title of your video, I'll bet that this isn't as original as you think it is. A similar tool has been used for a very long time to polish engine crankshaft journals on a lathe. It's been used in woodworking for quite a while, too. Despite that and the choice of color, it isn't an ugly build and subjectively useful.
