BikeBuilds.net: Yamaha XS650 Racer by Kruisje

Like browsing a catalog, we only stop on things that got our attention. Only when leafing through again do we notice that the better ones were overlooked. I cannot recall how many times I have failed to notice this XS650 Racer by Kruisje on ChopCult.com while browsing BikeBuilds.net.

At first glance, it may look like a so-so hardtail. Only upon a closer inspection you will appreciate the beauty of the build. The color combination is pleasing to the eye. No blinding chromes here. The wooden mockup tank looked great but the builder switched to polyester and later, polished aluminum. It would have been nice to see a wood accent on the finished build. Still, the bike looks really cool as it is.
