Attachment to something, more often than not, is a good thing. When wolfraider crashed his Raider, he painstakingly rebuilt the bike instead of letting it go.

What makes this build special however, is the degree of its transformation. Sure, he could have rebuilt it to what it was easily from available parts, but he opted to make it into something totally different. It seems that decision was a wise one, and the result speaks for itself.
