Patience and resourcefulness are essential when building on a limited budget. One could always get readily available aftermarket parts that cost a fortune or patiently collect the parts by hunting for bargains. It really depends on preference and the thickness of builder's wallet.
Goldy on JockeyJournal.com started this build when a friend gave him a T100 engine, front end, and tank. He wanted to build a decent cafe without breaking the bank and managed just that. The outcome exceeded expectations as this two-wheeled beauty was featured in a motorcycling magazine! Not bad for a bike that was built for under $1,800.
