I found video's for this little bench vice mounted metal bender on you tube and the plans are available online at the bottom of this page: http://oxtool.blogspot.com/2012/08/ so I just had to make one! I was planning on making some custom shaped peg hooks to fit odd shaped items and this is just the tool for the job. This thing works GREAT! It bends material effortlessly.
I made a few changes to suit what materials I had on hand but stuck to the main idea. Some additions I made are some various sized die sleeves that slip over the 3/8 pin to create different radius curves. I also built an adjustable block that slips in the 2 holes and has a pivot pin that slides up close to the bending die. This is useful for making small bends on the ends of things like peg hooks and helps to avoid the waste you get from having the pins far apart.
This can be used to bend various metals such as round, square and flat stock. Lots of great uses!
