Harold Hall used to post quite a bit around here, as Metaler: Homemade Tools built by Metaler - HomemadeTools.net . I'm sure he would be very thrilled to see any tools on the internet that bore even a passing resemblance to his designs (which for sure were similarly inspired by a lifetime of seeing others' tools), and would be quite honored to have provided some inspiration to fellow tool builders.

He recently cut back on what was a very demanding publishing schedule, especially for someone who would qualify as a mentor even for our deeply-experienced crowd: Correspondence .

I hope someone sees Dimitris's excellent design, and is able to advance it even further.

Thanks for the link, I appreciate it very much! I very recently found Harold Hall's web site and YT channel; his projects are absolutely amazing! To bad for me that I don't have a milling machine, I would surely tried to make everyone of his projects!!!

You said it very well; I think that is same with what I believe and have it as motto 'sharing knowledge and experiences takes us farther'

Dimitris - Thank you for this. It's a beautiful design and demonstration of your skills. But 80+ photos when a 2 page engineering drawing would have covered everything? Well actually I'll just use your images to create my drawing and it'll probably take less time than printing out all the images. ..... EdW

Thank you for the comment, I appreciate it! You're right about the 80+ pictures, but this was the only way for someone like me that don't know how to make engineering drawings!
