There's one that hangs out around my house. A few years ago me and my girlfriend were both working at a salt mine and spent weeks away from the house. The bear hung around a lot that year. Even when we're here we still see him a couple times a year. He has pushed on the front door, the windows, smashed all my solar lights, broken various other things and climbed the front of my house a few times. He loves to steal hummingbird feeders. He has looked in the window (presumably watching TV) while I've been asleep on the couch. I've caught him in the act and had to chase him off the deck a couple times. They're just big wimps. If you run out yelling and swinging a flashlight they'll take off. Well... a black bear will. Brown, maybe not so much.

Never seen that before. I have seen people flip their doors around so they open out. I have a really cool barricade thing that you screw to the floor. It's pretty robust steel construction and secured down with lag bolts. It's supposed to be battering ram proof. Not sure about that part, but it's definitely going to make it 10x harder to get that door open. I'm very confident it'll stop a medium sized bear (or a large sized thug).
