    B-1 Main landing gear

    Going though some old photos. Found this photo of my dad in 1976. Working on the B1 Main landing gear. Solid titanium. It is old, faded, and not a very good photo to begin with. But I guess it is where I got my interest in making things. And trying my best to do them right. He used to come home with stories about how "those new engineers" had no idea what they are doing. Especially with they started implementing the early CNC machines that used punched paper tape for programming.
