Automotive & Electronics Glass Fuse Sizes & values

I spent a couple of days, off and on, looking for a glass fuse for my Can Crusher project. I had no idea that there are so many sizes (lengths, diameters and amperages, fast blow, wicked fast blow, slow blow, incredibly slow blow). With the help of Bussmann, I made a chart that I hope will save others from the frustration I experienced.

Yes finding the correct fuse can be a daunting task. with very few exceptions you almost always need to replace with the exact same value and type as the blown fuse.
Like many I am sure, I have at times wrapped a blown fuse with a gum wrapper and gotten away with it long enough to procure the proper replacement But there have also been times when I let the smoke out of the electrical component. never a good day when that happens.
About the strangest thing I have ever seen was a pickup came to the shop once with 9 .22 Long rifle hollow point cartridges in the fuse panel. I wondered what was the guy thinking.
