Ok, not sure if I am in the right place...that comes with senility and a born in the 50's mentality. hahaha

My name is Scott. I own and operate Scanalex Machine. This small machine shop rebuilds and refurbishes
automatic screw machines. Mostly Escomatics which is a Swiss made rotating tool head automatic screw machines.
Do a search, you will find it very interesting.
I do a lot of custom grinding, tight tolerance fittings on bushings and shafts & bearing surfaces.
I have been running/working on/managing shops in the screw machine industry for almost 40 years now.
If you check out Escomatic Parts, Esco parts, Escomatic Training, Escomatic Repair, Escomatic machine sales - Home and all of their rebuilt machines over the past
five years, I did.
I worked for them from July 2010 to July 2015.
Before that I ran Scanalex Machine doing what I do today but only in one shop of 800 sq ft.
Now I have my home shop of 800 sq ft and a satellite shop in Ashland NH with almost 3,000 sq ft.

Before that I was the GM of a shop that started with a handful of machines and ended up with over 80 machines over the course of 13 years. Moving several times to accommodate the needs of the times.
