Using a one way clutch, this quill handle modification allows one hand easy setting of the handle position without set increments.

For those who are curious, he explained how this works on his Q&A in the yt post as such:
Pressing the handle to the left can lightly lock the handle to allow the handle to retract the quill. A lot depends on your quill friction & spring pressure.
For my machine. I increased the spring pressure to help with retracting the quill. I also added a spring loaded ball plunger adjacent to the handle thread to give a little constant friction. I will consider making a plastic split washer to give a finer adjustment to the housing friction onto the quill axle.
