Astro Van steering knuckle mods. Making another jig fixture.

I was wondering if you were going to get the steering knuckle magnafluxed to check for cracks. I don't know what state you are from, but Jersey would give you an impossible time registering that for the street. Good luck.

No plans to magnafux it. No reason to. The modified area is tied into the rest of the spindle much more robustly then it was in the as cast part. The way Mike welded in there are no voids and, like i said he did the work on the two spindles over three days. Pre-heating, welding and then letting them cool.
The van is already registered here in Michigan. It is a Station Wagon...
