That's a lot of mechanism to do what I can do with a knife in about the same time. I love the look of this thing though, and if I was de-kernelling 100 ears of corn for canning, I'd appreciate it a lot more.

His intro to the demonstration says it is not a corn sheller, it is a green corn cutter for cutting sweet corn.
