It is the start of this link that put me onto watching Dan Gelbart. Incredible workshop and exceptionally knowledgeable.

Well it doesn't actually take that long to film the videos. Editing takes longer but I am getting faster with that, I generally do some editing when I sit down after dinner. That is time that I would not being doing much else with.

To be honest it is a little experiment to see how much effort it is to build a following on Youtube. There are many people making workshop videos who have built up a ton of followers (I saw one with 1 million followers). Tuomas, an award winning member of this forum, has quite a successful Youtube following.
Those video producers with a good following get free stuff from manufacturers for product placement benefits. I love free stuff, but I need to build my channel a lot more to get into that club.

I'm certainly so so good organized than you, sometimes it's not possible to go to the computer when I want to sleep a little, without my wife can I no more take work before half a year…
It's a problem too if you accept to work on too many subjects, especially if you can't say no, at this time I prefer to go seeding in the garden than be in my desk.
