Nice work!!

Great use of that press! When i find the time im working on a very similar press. Largely for the same reasons you highlight which is that it is better than welding for fabtications.

As for the grinder attachments these are great examples of ingenuity. I need to see if the idea can be adapted to the grinders i have.

I have four Bosch angle grinders. All of them has different mounting for guard.

Only one is with the "traditional" clamp.
So its little difficult to make an attachment that would fit directly to every grinder... unless you stay with that old style clamp version...

Bad thing is that usually those ones with "old school mount", are also build "old school" way, thick and heavy. I rather use thin and light weighted grinder.

I am surprised this is not a commercial product. I love my powerfile but a larger version would be very nice.

Turned a new drive wheel..

Old worked well and nicely.. but this one looks more pro.

Yes. More like grinded than turned.

Dust guard... made big enough to allow easier assembly to the grinder.

And the final part..



Drilled holes to platen, to get it lighter.
Also i tought holes would reduce friction between belt and the platen.






M6 bolt that holds the dust guard, also works as a stopper.
Without it attachment leans to the body of the grinder and slowly scratches it... so, just a little visual improvement.

I forget do you also have a mounting saddle for it
