Many years ago, I used to be my mother's jar opening tool.....and my father's remote for the tv. Now, I may have to build your tool.

Hello! Yes, I think many people can relate. We've all ran across those stubborn containers that are so difficult to open. This tool worked out great and it now has a new home in my Kitchen. Thank you for your comment and for watching.

If you DO NOT have the time to waste building this thingy, just go to Amazon and spend a few bucks, it does EXACTLY the same thing, IT OPENS ALL DIFFERENT SIZED LIDS THAT ARE HARD TO OPEN.

Referencing TV remote: Apparently a rite or mildly contagious disease to offspring without immunity [younger siblings]...But little kids can't grip jars.

I can't explain the trend to such narrow rimmed jars, ARE they not freaking hard to open? Knurling? Hell no, just slick paint Mason type, no problem.
