I would bet he couldn't do that to any truck built before 1980.

All the gator did was do the guy a favor and remove the extra plastic junk, of course in so doing it probably set off the air bag doing the guy yet another favor. Now he can mount a real bumper.
A While back a nearby farmer had his 2021 Ford Expedition totaled by the ins co after hitting a deer the bumper, grille, condenser, radiator, hood and windshield were damaged He got one arm broke and 2 of his teeth knocked out from the air bag. The deer walked away. If he had been driving a truck like mine, he would have only had to wash some blood off the bumper and grill guard and had venison for supper.
Never try to tell me it can't be done

So much for a 5 MPH resistant bumper, and the wheelwell, not so well either.
My recent trip east found a related bit of funniness.
There's a body shop giving large turkeys to customers coming in with work related to hitting a deer.
The first sign was nearby the one with 3D cows recommending the local fast food chicken stand. Somehow, that coincidence was a bit of entertainment.
    Sincerely,
