Alligator lined and raised belt - DIY

Hi all!
Just finished the gift for my dad.

The belt is composed of greased cowhide as inner layer, pressed leather as rise and alligator as outer layer.
Due to high price of reptiles, and the impossibility of buying only a part of the skin, it I decided to make a belt from short parts.
Seen and considered the type of belt, I decided for hand sewing with waxed twin, very long process, but better result than machine stiching
