Thumbs up After some time I'm back with a foldable, sketchy metal sheet braker/bender

Hi there! After a while I'm back with this simple and easy to make project. It is a metal sheet braker/bender that can be folded to take a small footprint in the shop and be stored in a corner when not in use. The best part is that it is made reclaiming metal from the scap bin
...but it is a little bit sketchy when it comes to bend sheets with another bend at ninety degrees.
Hope you'll enjoy the video ...and Merry Christmas to you!

A nice simple little break, I did notice a couple things you may want to add to it though Since I didn't have my sound on I don't know if you mentioned anything about the flex in the hold down clamp or the apron. BY simply welding a flat bar on edge in the center of the top of the clamp and the back side of the apron you can solve these issues

Just a few moments into the video saw something I'll be adapting to all my tap holders. He's got a tommy bar to help tighten the tap handle!

Also, he doesn't mind showing when he makes a mistake. That is more valuable, IMHO, than all the stuff he did right. A wise man learns from the mistakes of others. A fool does not learn even from his own mistakes. Been a fool more than once! Keep getting interrupted in watching the video, but already learned enough that I know I have to keep watching it!

@Frank S - The bar didn't flex when it is the case of just holding the sheet, it did actually flex when I interposed spacers (just some chunks of square tubing): To prevent them to slip I had to tightened hard the clamping screws, which caused the bar to flex a little bit. But I agree on your proposal to make it more rigid.
Thanks for commenting, and merry Christmas.

I already have a small brake, but I saw a way to utilize a different design.
