    Aeolipile steam turbine - GIF

    An aeolipile or Hero's engine is a steam turbine that spins when the water inside is heated. The Greco-Egyptian mathematician and engineer Hero of Alexandria described the device in the 1st century AD, and was later credited for its invention.
