Thanks Jim, I've got a Tig finger and sometimes use it when I'm tigging but it's mostly in the way for me when I'm stick welding.
[QUOTE=Altair;167992]Adjustable wrench with dial and scale for measuring nut dimensions.
Fullsize image: https://diqn32j8nouaz.cloudfront.net...e_fullsize.jpg
I used to work with a guy who kept a beat up old mic in his box, if he wanted to freak out the new guy, he would grab it and act like he was mad.
Take it and throw it on the ground cussing up a storm.
He threw a lot of people off their game that way.
We'd all do well by slapping the perpetrator.
Aside from demonstrating ineptitude or dumb, weak humor, the jaws aren't positioned correctly to measure across flats. What useless information will dial display? After all, a 1/2-13 flanged clamping nut is 7/8" hex, not .930.
I think we are being trolled.
But like correct use of an adjustable wrench, he is pulling on fixed jaw...
