    This video is not intended as a how to video rather it is a entertainment video and should be seen as such. LOL, Captainleeward. Very fine use of components to create the weldment and adjusters.

    That's half the fun, watch clues and fabricate mentally. Most of the hardware and components are visible, I should think many could run with that alone.

    these knobs are my favorite to make I have them all over my equipment...Cap.

    Nice and it gives me good ideas, in recent discussions about steady rest the majority did not like roller bearings they said
    roller bearings pick up to much swaf.

    Both rollers and brass tips have their place on steady/ follow rests. Not always interchangeable, usually depends on running surface or weight that rest bears.
