    3 jaw chuck spacers

    Here's a couple of spacers/parallels I made for the 3-jaw. Much more convenient than using 3 hands to hold a conventional parallel in place, and you can leave it in place while you turn. Only drawback is a limit to how small a diameter you can hold.

    If you put three holes in the webs of the spacers, you can make spacer plugs to allow you to accommodate workpieces of various thicknesses. See my version in this post...
