    2x48" belt sander

This is my 2x48" belt sander I just made. The wheels I turned on the lathe from blanks I made from melted down aluminum scrap. The motor I got at an auction for $5.00. I bought the belts on Amazon. Everything else I had in stock.

I like this a lot Sir, simple, takes up no room. Have you got drawings please? I have a motor or two of different sizes, what size do you use?

I have no drawings - I don't work from drawings. I saw a photo of one on the internet so I knew what it was supposed to look like and I had the motor and the belt for dimensions and I went from there. I usually tend to figure things out as I go along.
The motor, I think, is 1/3 hp and it works just fine.
